Social Media Strategy Analysis – Interview Project for Century 21 This project was part of an interview assignment given to me by Kevi Gindi, Marketing Manager at Century 21. While I was ultimately the runner-up for the role, I’m proud of the work I submitted and believe it demonstrates my strategic thinking and deep understanding of brand storytelling and engagement. Project Overview: I was tasked with selecting a brand on Instagram or TikTok—preferably within fashion or retail—and analyzing their recent content strategy. I chose Steve Madden, a brand I deeply resonate with and know well from my two years of experience working there. My existing familiarity with their voice, audience, and goals allowed me to offer a detailed and thoughtful critique. My analysis addressed: What Steve Madden aims to achieve with its content (e.g., brand awareness, sales, community building) Which content strategies were most effective and why Areas for improvement and how I would approach them differently Types of content used (reels, carousels, stories) Audience engagement and interaction Visual and written content quality Alignment between content and brand objectives This project showcases my ability to assess social strategy with both creative and analytical insight—skills I continue to apply in my work.
