Content Calendar Strategy – Interview Project for Century 21
This project was the first part of an interview assignment provided by Kevi Gindi, Marketing Manager at Century 21. While I was ultimately the runner-up for the role, this task was a great opportunity to showcase my content planning skills, strategic thinking, and understanding of audience engagement through social media.
Project Overview:
I was asked to create a January content calendar for Century 21 NYC’s social media channels, outlining at least three posts or reels per week. The focus was on creating a balance of promotional, seasonal, and community-driven content that aligned with the brand’s voice and goals.
Key Content Themes:
Designer Deals & Trends: Highlighting up to 65% off designer items
Seasonal Fashion Content: Winter styling, New Year sales, and layering tips
Community Engagement: Interactive posts such as polls, Q&As, and comment-driven prompts
I proposed content ideas with clear creative direction, including post hooks, reel structures, and suggested reference examples. I also included my rationale for each week’s content to show how the ideas aligned with brand messaging, current trends, and audience behavior.
The final calendar was organized by week and submitted in a clear and accessible format, demonstrating both my creative approach and organizational skills. This project reflects my ability to build engaging, on-brand social content that supports marketing goals while connecting with a digital audience.
